If you want to be a interior designer, if you want to learn how to critique your resume, if you want to learned what to say in an interview, all types like that. If you want to learn to draw, if you want any type of things that you could think of skill shares really good for that. Awesome. I've heard a lot of the big institutions like they're really great schools like Harvard and Yale. They have these online classes, and my co workers were telling about that. Check that out to me You could never get enough. Education is true. This is true. You do have to take an actual class and you do you have to take, like, tests and stuff. But, uh, e free? Yeah. Yeah. No, this has never happened in some of our parents Lifetime and has no blueprint for this s o. It's just like this is really new. And, um ah, lot of the world's is very fearful, very anxious. This is a recession that happens within the economy. So essentially, when it is in layman's terms in to break it down a simple A spy is is a decline in the economic activity, so that typically occurs whenever there's a widespread decrease in spending. Exactly so currently, right now, we're not technically in a recession. But we are leading up to one possibly fitness, like all the signs in the making. And it's crazy that is happening around the time of Texas. And this typically, would you stimulus of the economy? Exactly. About to be moment like it was refund check? Yeah, notice That's what the government keep him. That stimulus package they really want to suspend. But honestly, in this particular man, we can't go out so sure, unless you do it all last shopping. I don't really know or the grocery stores, because, of course, they're just winning right now, but I mean is gonna be interesting to see if the economy would get back churning once the stimulus start going out. I agree. Shut out to, ah, the stimulus package being passed by Congress because it is beneficial because there's a lot of people currently right now, as does occur when a recession happens that people are getting furloughed. Oh, are laid off. Um, and because of such, there's a lot of people with no jobs. Is that you know, the stimulus package helps people on specifically couples who make under $150,000 a year a swell, a single people who make under $75,000 a year. You will get a stimulus check for either $1200 or $2400. Um, but those are for these people that you know the world that needs it. Um, and it was with a $2 trillion to me is so like the similar packages helpful, and it's I'm glad that they passed it. But at the same time, if you look at it to see and notice how many companies are actually bankrupt because you don't have enough money TV, we've been out of business for what, three weeks like you don't have any reserves is crazy to think that these big corporations don't have funding to support a three week lapse. I'm saying it's like that. It's Curries. Just think about all the hours that we put into these places. And they're not even doing there not being financially responsible. Exactly Exactly. Then that's raising thing because like, how do you sit up here? And it was literally in a week's time bump. Three weeks, elites time. Oh, I gotta let all y'all go. I graduate from college in 2009 so I was right in the mist of it like it was terrible. I mean, cos panicked just like we're doing right now in regards to hiring. So it really didn't affect some people graduating with sorry majors. But somebody like me who's coming out looking for finest job I mean, it was just none. There was no land boy despite the bell outs and also things people were just doing hiring freeze because they weren't sure how they were going, transition or go, so that the next step after that was over. So it was a very interesting time. Luckily, my parents are pretty financially responsible, and I was able to go home. I mean, I couldn't imagine it they had lacked or if they didn't do what they were supposed to do, and there was no hope for me to go through, you know, like it's on my college friends. They had to deal with it, and it was a harsh reality of people that you would think would be of a sustained of depression. You know, they came in with a six months of obsession is similar to what we're talking about in regards to these companies that are losing their shit After 22 days of not having, I guess profit margins is how, as they have been so I don't remember that. I mean, it was crazy to think that banks were taken advantage of the little people in regards. And that's kind of how we all got into that, Miss. And I mean the next bubble that they always we're talking about. We're student loans like no one predicted that it will be a pandemic for virus. You think about it. There have been other viruses that comes from every bulla bird flu. It's been the only time. And I mean, I'm not pointing any fingers, but it is ironic that we currently have the administration that we have. And then now we have a pen Dimick of a virus spreading. And supposedly she are the team or dismantle the team last year too prevent something like this from happening because he said that this could never care occur in, uh, on American soul. Of course, that's exactly what he found. Yes, it sounds about right. And I were in the predicament that we had a fisherman who refused to believe that this was not a hoax. It's not about the world. I think you're being president of the United States, not cleaning up you, right? This is a list. And we have a whole segment where we talk about backs. Homes were foreclosed. They were losing jobs. People didn't have money to buy things. The real estate market was I like I know Boyd. No, I so I, But other than that, I don't really remember too much other than, like, what was happy on inside me. But it didn't really play effect in my own life your day today because, I mean, you said, you know, that high school, so right, still in the rest of the world is panicking. But that's crazy that you mentioned, like how the top 10% or how the upper middle class are able to sustain these times because honestly, so the stock market, Phil for the like he had his first month on the S and P 500 field, 12.5% let this week and it had his worst months. Is October sort out? So if I already have, like, boo boo money or just money just in reserves evac and spend during times of recession, I can totally win. I mean, they could make a killing because eventually the markets and then come back up like a carefully, even if it is lowest point is gonna hit up tick or upturn. And these people are winning because there could buy stock, like at a hill, 75%. Yeah, cow. I mean, you're coming and most of the people that can also have them money available. They could go by these properties. So when those foreclosures don't happen, I bought a home that was worth 100,000 for 3 50 Maybe it maybe love in my interest rate is gonna be awesome because of stop supplying the man. So the people with the money, they always went out in a situation like this. And honestly, there has been speculation that sometimes I even create these type of environments that they can replenish were like So that's what you think. Way for the question of like, Do you feel like recessions target a specific demographic? Definitely. Definitely. I think that on the advantage side of targets, the wealthy because they're himself sustained during this. And unfortunately, of course, the lower to middle class always get hit so hard. It's so there will be no wants, mostly impacted because, I mean, they especially people just live like chicks Chick. I mean, this is or was happening. Something was not. No one can foresee this three or six weeks ago like that possibly would be at the house into June like ho foresaw that competent. So just imagine someone the struggling or can barely make ends meet and have four kids. You know, I just I mean, we're all blissed, even in times where we feel like we're not bliss that always has someone in the worst position to you are sure. So I definitely this time targets the lower to middle class and those who want the most affected by this in long term. I mean, we talk about the here and now 2020 but it's still people. Hell, maybe just get back under people 2008. So right? No, I totally agree. I sad because again, like you said, people live in check to check, like there already struggling. So just think when the economy drops, how much they're going to be struggling. And if you don't play it for that or don't have a plan in the time of the recession that everything that you thought you had or everything that you were working for eight you got to start over. Yeah, and to just think of that is very scary. You think about that is it's It's almost frustrating because just like it's so much shaking it here and now. I'm back, tracked by economy that so called maybe could have been prevented. If you know you never miss the China in the trade war to begin with like everybody knows, what the fuck was Shiner like. Why would she go after them? I do. Come on, man. Like there's a lot of things that could have been prevented at this time because the Corona virus is not new. He was like, You are a lot we gave you. It's 600 page report on this pandemic crisis. That potential was gonna take off and 2020 and you dismantle our entire group. So I mean, we all know the point. The finger. Oh, no. You know, I just try and think On the positive side of sometimes God just be like, yo, sit down, Okay? In time with your family, the prime Lastly. And I mean, we always air so on the goal, we always doing things on social media. You know, God is still in control and, well, he wants you sit down. Clearly, you're going to say, Don't world take a seat. Is that well, stop, wait. I will say small businesses are declining, but yet this is the time for small businesses and entrepreneurs to be creative, you know, to stay in the game, the your resilience and how you overcome this pen. It can't be more than 10 people in all those things I mean, and people to be home, their kids now they can't just come out and go. It's a typically would be really folks don't know what to do with the Children, man. You don't have to wake up as early as you have Thio to go to the office, but I want you to wake up at some reasonable time and then from there, I want you to wash your face, brush a little speaking mouths and then from there, I want you to make your men for all those persons who make your bed? I don't know. Maybe it It just grinds my gears if I don't make what I have to. But for people who don't throw a sheet over some more, you know, Step two pillows up. I don't know what you do. Um, but I need you to make your bed in front there. Go downstairs after you get dressed. And will you get dressed? You don't have to sit up here and put on a nice blouse and Jean's house. You want to just put us a nice lounge where you could put on some work out where, you know, whatever you're feeling. I had a crop top and some Adidas is maybe some leggings. The house needs cleaning. Clean your house up and clean home. Switch out. Sure. Your clothes. So all those winter clothes and go ahead and switch him out for the spring and summer. Because, of course, that is something that you could easily grab and I use just in case something happens, margin stays in. Another thing would be, although there so many different people out here looking for jobs in the job market may not necessarily be as fertile right now. Um, because, of course, they don't really know where things are being kind of up in the air. Um, looking for new opportunities is so good. Oh, yeah. Still apply. I don't feel like all you know. Ain't nobody hiring right now. There's a fire. Get your name in the pool, Fischer. So don't stop that mind set. Keep on going on. And this is a good time. Especially if you either got furloughed or laid off. Um, or just been looking for a job for a while. Ah, where houses like Wal Mart and Home Depot and Amazon are really good and it appear work at you get, like, 15 to $21 an hour putting on the oh, uh, your geographical area. Um, I would, you know, look at things like uber shipped things of that nature. Small little things that you could do Well, just done it. Maybe not over, because ain't nobody going nowhere. But everything that I like, the fact that you said, you know, stockpile and say this is extremely important, especially during this time of uncertainty in the market, is so volatile. I will also say, you know, I would forego the big purchases like if I was thinking about buying home spring 2020 I may push that back to the fall or just wait for the next year for everything to totally clear out and perfectly will be back to normal. I will wait for the big purchase that includes, like, a car like and listens like in the city. I wouldn't buy a new car in this morning in this. My, honestly, Where you going? Okay. Oh, right. Unless you one of the essential employees that just have to get back and forth to work. And that's the good sign, though. So that means you'd least have income going inside. It applied to use more sort of people that are at home or like for a load or laid off during this time period. I was definitely foregoing the big purchases, and I will awesome say, while we're saving and also being cautious with our money. But at the same time, if you have extras some reserved in any town was to buy the stock market, it is frightening. No. Yeah. We're talking about this about maybe two or 33 weeks ago, and I probably should have waited a little longer because I think it's gonna drop even lower. But it is going to turn around like you have to play the long game. Of course, when you talk about stocks, not of those different things, but is gonna be will work it like a ce faras investing and go online and so much stuff on the computer. Now you don't even have to Really, What you're doing will be a guru or finance wiz there to figure out what stocks to go into. I mean, healthcare is booming. All the companies that we said are still driving through the recession. I will look there first, but I will also look at the ones that drop like to nothing across a lot typically did that. It would be definitely a good time to look into those like Apple, Netflix and with I e don't know hope of privacy. Look, they're about for injured. I mean, they probably dropped two, maybe 3 50 You know, you can buy like tooth Doctor, May it's me, all types of stuff like that. So anything that you think that's, you know, dropping right now are beneficial, like like spunky said Healthcare, pharmaceuticals, You know, stuff like that, Even by and dirt cannabis, You know, all that time itself are things that you can look into, um, buy and stock. Like putting that $500 now in the stock can mean so much or for years in the future. If you're not in a row, right, If you got it, and it just do it. I mean, even if it's not $100 right, you started, you know, like funeral. So you know, it's never the not the right time and do stocks. But this time it's the right time. You know, it's the right time. You definitely gonna appreciate yourself like a thio. Possibly two years. You'll see your timer. So I definitely every gate for that. And also to so not a lot of places like Reynold Price, like apartments. They're having a guest like there were there, knowing for the student laws were there at least give you a free month's rent or forgo this month, paying if you're like a ninja Proctor hardship.
